  Big shout outs to George and John for helping me to eat my weight in rock cakes and chug down 10 litres of Farmer's Union strong iced coffee in a week! A massive achievement, but I know we can do better. ^o^/

• Review of "The Highway" at Plympton

  I have been here 2 times both times for a presentation evening 1 year apart! Both times we have filled in an allergy form for my boyfriend who is anaflaxis to all nuts! The first time we were there he was handed a meal with nuts, nothing on the menu stated it had nuts, luckily we looked and asked then then got him another meal 20 min later he was given a meal free of nuts! The second time... (last Saturday) he ordered the main of beef and I got the "salmon with dill sauce asparagus and potatoes" he said can I try the salmon I said sure, after all there's no nuts right? Next min we were in the car on the way to the flinders ER. My meal had a red sauce on top which apparently was a pesto? Even if i had eaten my meal with nuts and kissed my lovely boyfriend I would have killed him! Our $70 dinner was ruined, we only had 1 bite of our mains and they didn't even let our friends eat our desserts! We had to spend over night in hospital and can't wait to receive the bill!!! This has happened more than once and is extremely disappointing! I called 3 times to get through to leave a note saying we were in hospital and wouldn't be returning. Wish it was a different situation, it's not hard to write on something contains nuts!!!
